Welcome to The Flowerman!

We are thrilled that you are considering us for your wedding flowers! We will work very hard to make sure your appointment is as productive as possible.

To make selecting your flowers a smooth, easy, and fun process, please review the following questions below prior to arriving for your consultation. We have included a little checklist to help you go through the process before you talk with a consultant.

You do not need to complete the entire checklist before you come, but we want to make sure we give you the necessary resources to be ready to tackle this part of the wedding so we can get to all the fun stuff. Feel free to print this sheet off and check anything you think applies to you. =)

Do you have pictures of what you love?

This is the most important item on the list!

Be on the lookout for flower styles, shapes, textures, sizes and designs when viewing images of flowers. Finding photographs that match your exact colors is not as important as identifying the type of flowers that appeal to you. If you are not sure which flowers are in season at the time of your wedding, not to worry – we can guide you during the consultation.

Are the wedding colors all ready to go?

It’s always useful to bring along something that shows the colors you have in mind for your flowers. Try to bring along one of the options on the side so we can get an idea of what colors you hope to have.

One of the below options would be wonderful!

-dress swatches

-wedding props (such as vases)

Besides bouquets, what are you looking for?

We are interested in learning all about your floral ideas so we can help you create your perfect wedding!

Try to consider other flowers in addition to bouquets and centerpieces, like the ones on the checkboxes.

If you have collected inspirational photographs on a Pinterest board, you may save the images directly to your phone or tablet device. We work in an open warehouse at both of our locations, so internet access is not always dependable.

Thinking about flowers for special guests?

There are special people who are often honored with single flowers, small bouquets, or corsages at a wedding.

Please consider those individuals before arriving for your appointment. If corsages are selected, please identify in advance if the preference is a pin-on or a wrist version.

What kind of flower containers?

Flower centerpieces are created to be focal points at the wedding and at the reception. The vases for the centerpieces impact the style of flower arrangements that can be designed. The sizes of the containers also help to determine how many flowers will be needed to create each arrangement.

Want some friendly support?

Selecting flowers and making decisions about decorating with flowers is one of the most fun elements of planning a wedding. While some brides prefer to attend the appointment alone, others invite a family member or a friend to the consultation.

Consider someone who listens to you, understands your vision for the “big day”, and encourages good decisions without being bossy. For many brides this “extra someone” is their fiancé. Please refrain from bringing children if possible.

How to reserve the wedding date?

The Flowerman’s wedding calendar fills quickly. In order to reserve your date we ask for a deposit to officially “book” your wedding and all applicable contracts to be signed. Once your deposit payment and contracts are received, you’ll be able to reserve your wedding date and book an available DIY construction party day/time.

Last minute events are always welcomed at The Flowerman. If you’re planning and ordering your flowers within 30 days of your wedding, the required deposit will be 100% of the total cost.

Final Reminders

Every wedding is of the highest importance to us. We realize there are plenty of other florists and we are honored that you are considering us for your special day.

We prioritize our many brides by wedding dates and give a great deal of attention to those brides getting married this weekend. Please allow up to 24 hours for returned calls, and 7 days for all correspondence, updates and email responses.

Thank you for choosing The Flowerman. We can’t wait to meet you!
