Customer Service Associate - Dayton
The Flowerman is a vibrant and creative floral business dedicated to delivering exceptional flowers and memorable customer experiences. We’re looking for a friendly and dependable Floral Customer Service Associate to join our team. Responsibilities:
As a key front-line member of our team, your daily duties will include:
● Providing outstanding customer service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and help them find the perfect floral arrangements.
● Register operation: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
● Phone & order management: Answer incoming calls, take detailed orders, and ensure correct information is passed to designers and delivery staff.
● Product quality control: Monitor floral displays and arrangements for freshness, presentation, and overall quality; remove or refresh product as needed.
● Team support: Assist floral designers during busy times with tasks such as prepping flowers, tagging orders, or assembling simple arrangements.
● Store appearance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.What We’re Looking For:
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
● Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
● Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
● Comfortable using a register and basic computer systems
● A proactive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
● Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during peak seasons (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day)Please note: This position does not include health benefits at this time.

Wedding Office Administrator - Dayton
Summary:
As the Office Administrator for The Flowerman’s Bridal Team, you’ll be a welcoming and dependable presence in our office. You’ll support our team by managing bridal proposals, responding to customer inquiries, updating schedules, and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be one of the first voices our brides hear—so a kind, helpful, and positive attitude is a must! If you love staying organized, thrive on creating great experiences, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you.Key Responsibilities:(including, but not limited to)
Warmly answer phone calls and emails from couples and their families
Update client proposals and send revised invoices with accuracy and care
Manage and communicate the weekly DIY class schedule with our team and customers
Coordinate the monthly consultation calendar for the bridal team
Support and occasionally coach during Thursday/Friday DIY floral classes
Gently follow up with couples who have pending details or bookings
Help keep our office space tidy, cheerful, and running smoothly
Assist customers with payments and scheduling for DIY classes
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or associate's degree
A friendly, helpful nature and a strong passion for customer service
Confidence using Gmail, Google Calendar, and other online tools (Curate, Square, Acuity)
Great problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
A love for organization and helping others succeed
Some flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of our couples and events
