Your role in the company will be to assist various departments in a warehouse setting and to support the company vision. This position on our team is vital to the success of our DIY construction parties and design weddings. This role will focus on fully preparing the warehouse in all aspects daily and weekly along with hosting and leading DIY construction parties weekly. You will perform functions relating to verifying floral product deliveries, inventory checks, verifying product quality, processing floral products, stocking, organizing, preparing tables for construction, cleanliness of warehouse environment, creating a welcoming DIY space, coaching DIY construction parties, assisting with pickups and deliveries of weddings, etc. Additionally, customer service will be a large part of this position as the latter portion of the week is very heavily focused on the construction parties and weddings of that weekend. 

Please inform us of your availability. This role is full-time Tuesday - Saturday with a rotational Sunday shift (1 hour).

Responsibilities and Duties Included But Not Limited To:

○ Unloading trucks with weekly product deliveries

○ Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space

○ Creating a warm and inviting warehouse environment for our customers

○ Preparing kits and supplies weekly and monthly for DIY construction parties

○ Coaching weekly in DIY construction parties on Thursdays and Fridays

○ Assisting with design work and teach design classes as needed

○ Performing and handle all wedding pickups, deliveries and setups on weekends (rotational Sunday pickups)

○ Educate clients on proper floral care and construction techniques

○ Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate needs of the company

○ Reports directly to the wedding department management team

Qualifications:

○ High school diploma or higher education preferred, but not required

○ Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills

○ Friendly disposition and strong commitment to upholding company standards

○ Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills

○ Capacity for semi flexible schedule to meet the needs of the company

○ Attention to detail and accuracy

○ Floral Design is a plus, but not required

○ Works effectively and efficiently independently and as part of a team

○ Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

○ Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

○ Capability to stand/walk and work on feet a minimum of 8-10 hours at a time

○ Sometimes required to work in cooler at temperatures around 38 degrees

The Flowerman is looking for a Floral Design Coach to work part time with our bridal teams in our Columbus, Ohio location. Your role in the company will be to assist The Flowerman bridal teams with our DIY floral design parties. You will perform functions relating to customer service, floral design, and floral design instruction. You will be a consistent face/voice of the bridal department so you need to ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.

Responsibilities and Duties Included But Not Limited To:

○ Coach in weekly Thursday/Friday DIY classes

○ Apply proper flower handling techniques

○ Educate bridal parties on fundamentals of design, flower care, and preservation

○ Prep flowers and design materials 

○ Helping organize and maintain design space and common areas. 

○ Report to owners/bridal manager

○ Schedule & handle bridal pick-ups, deliveries, and set-ups

Qualifications:

○ High School Diploma or higher education preferred, but not required

Our Dayton location is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable full time Order Fulfillment Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking  and preparing floral orders. You’ll ensure accuracy, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse. 

 Key Responsibilities

 • Order Preparation: Accurately pick and package floral orders based on customer specifications.

 • Quality Control: Inspect flowers and products for freshness, quality, and presentation before packaging.

 • Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and notify the team of low-stock items.

 • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment. 

 • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily order deadlines.

 • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling delicate products. 

 Qualifications 

 • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

 • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or floral setting is a plus. 

 • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

 • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. 

 • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs pounds for extended periods.
